Renoir Prize 2026
On September 12th, 2026, I received the International Prize Renoir – The Great Interpreter of Art in Cannes, at the California Conference Hall - Juliana Cannes Hotel. The prize was awarded by the Fondazione Effetto Arte, by Dott. Francesco and Salvatore Russo and the president of the Foundation Mr Sandro Serradifalco.
This award celebrates the artists capable of interpreting reality with sensitivity and vision, transforming light into emotion and art into a universal language. I received it with my artwork "Oriental Perfum", inspired by my the light and the sweetness of the roses.
Oriental Perfum I 2023
This artwork holds a memory from my childhood with oil of Rosa Damascena and Rosehip from Chile, and a small vial of red pistils, to create a connection with perfume and femininity.
The little scars were the rays of light falling on my canvas in the early morning as I worked, and I used a part of my poem written for my self-portrait.
